We have NO open enrollment periods for new employees, so you can join year round.
If you are a sole proprietor or self-employed you will be on a monthly payroll and paid on the last day of the month.
If you are a small business and have a few employees, you can pay either monthly or have the option to pay semi-monthly. This will all be discussed during your onboarding process with your Client Account Manager.
All the applicable income taxes will be drawn from your business account and submitted by your employer, Milton Park Partners, who then assumes the liability.
Approximately 7 business days prior to pay date, Milton Park Partners will send you a detailed invoice for the amount of payroll you decide (Monthly minimum amount is $3,000) applicable payroll taxes and insurance premiums.
Once you approve the invoice, Milton Park Partners will ACH the funds 5 business days prior to your pay date.
To qualify for exempt employee status, beginning January 1, 2020 the DOL requires that exempt salaried employees must be paid at least $684 per week, or $35,568 annually.
Employees who do not meet this salary level must be classified as non-exempt, and be paid overtime for all hours worked over 40 in a workweek
At the time of enrollment, you will be assigned a Payroll Specialist and Client Service Representative to answer your questions and assist with the onboarding process.
You are also encouraged to include your representative from Payroll Advantage in email communications to help ensure your answers are being addressed.

You can change your current carrier at any time. Health insurance, like auto insurance it is a month-to-month contract.

You are not locked into any long-term contractual agreements and if you choose to exit the program, we ask that you give us a 30-day notice. The health insurance coverage will end the last day of the month.

If you falsify your employment paperwork or fail to fund your payroll, you will be contacted by HR and could be subject to termination.
